First one for real

Well, first blog proper, it has been now three months since I last worked, I have been on long sick leave since March, i have had recurring back and hip issues since 1988, then back in October last year i had a bad nights sleep and woke with a mid back pain which went around the whole back and to the sides, it has not eased over the last 10 months and has steadily gotten worse, now to the point i am hunched over and in constant pain.

Anyway, i have had MRI scans and X-Rays and the long and short of it is i have osteoarthritis in my hips, worse on the left and from the MRI scans i have ware on the base of my spine which has caused the muscles to all go into spasm, apparently, i have an appointment with the Musculoskeletal service on the 15th Aug, so for now i am popping pills and just sitting around as best i can, in a comfortable position, which is not easy, i have put on weight and become more down and depressed recently, i just want to go back to work and get on with my life, as this is now getting to the point of madness.

Not bad for a first blog post i hope i have not bored anyone and that hopefully it will be more fun once we can sort all this out.
